A funk mix/playlist I made to enjoy for anyone who likes compiling them.

Sits around the hour and a half mark.

Peter Seller's final film, the wonderful Being There, is on BBC iplayer at the moment. It features this incredible Seventies jazz funk version of Also Sprach Zarathustra by Deodato.

@batcountry1980 @Mikehomeseller Aye. There's a distinct lack of decent writing about the hard stuff on here, but that's okay because all my other tastes are more than catered for.

@batcountry1980 @Mikehomeseller Ah, intriguing. I shall look forward to reading it. Seriously, I want to ditch twitter but the likes of you and Dafti keep me stuck here.

@ATRightMovies People are always posting about this. Why not try and find something novel and interesting to post instead of rehashing well trodden bits of film history?

Spiritualized - Ladies and Gentlemen We are Floating in Space

My album of the day. The sounds of a broken man, in the wake of a humiliating breakup, pouring everything into his art. An addict, all alone, at his lowest point. A monumental achievement.

1997.
