@MrEdByrne apologies but as you were talking about your grown up kids in #sthelens tonight, we got a call about our baby kid and had to leave (noisily). enjoyed the show up to there though! My wife and I even got a @GuinnessIreland bath courtesy of the @TheatreRoyalStH staff 😉😂
#kegerator build number 2 went pretty smoothly! Now I just need some chalkboard paint to finish the job because I’m 7 years old!

If you’re interested in that sort of thing, you can see my chats with Jim (@DrTankNStein) on his YouTube feed, about the hops we’re growing on site.

A while ago I sat down with Tim (@TimothyBond) to talk beer and wood. His website (https://t.co/3VtYWtEhcu) is now up and running and taking orders for unique, handcrafted wooden wares. Head over there and grab some cool stuff https://t.co/uDSRYXkSn2
Spot on! I think that brown ale is very misunderstood. Americans seem to have it right on this one although I remember @cloudwaterbrew having a run of them a while ago? Either way, go brew a brown ale everyone!
Brown Ale. Much derided unfairly. The best examples are malty like a Porter and as hoppy as an IPA. My last pint of cask ale before lockdown2 was a Byker Brown Ale from @BrinkburnStBrew#LetsBeerPositive
Big thanks to @BeerCentralLtd for the kind shout out on the 50th birthday of the @SheffHopcast! I hope you all enjoy the barley wine. For reference, here is a picture of the grain bill that got us upwards of 13% ABV #beer#homebrew#dontdrinktooquick
Been a while since I did a dark #beerreview but as #sheffield is getting colder I thought I’d sink into the mighty #layercake from @BrewDog. Everyone loves their #IPA and #paleale choices but I think their #stouts might be some of the best around

As #mead season approaches I ’sat down’ with @themadbrewery to solve the age-old debate: Does #honey quality matter when #brewing mead? We taste-test some mead and chat about all things mead, experimental brewing and the flavour of the galaxy #homebrew https://t.co/FhVbw8BKER
I recently took a chance and bought an imperial breakfast #gose I was fully expecting to hate it but turns out, this completely made-up #beer style from @EvilTwinBrewing, is the most interesting beer I’ve ever had... anyone else any thoughts?

TAKE 2! Recently, I got the opportunity to sit down and chat with @Saltyinsheff on his awesome #hopfarm where he grows American #hops in #derbyshire which makes for some great beer! We talk hops, #beer and the trials and tribulations of owning a #brewie https://t.co/rRhoCp0B61
@roro_mantic I’d say everyone I work with has at one point brought me a pint and said ‘I’m not sure if you’ve had this, but I think you’ll love it’... I simply don’t understand what is good about that beer (Titanic Plum Porter that is)
@Anthony22011966 I have often wondered this... i would imagine you’re going to lose some carbonation no matter how carefully you pour and you’ll use a little more gas but I don’t see why not? Just keep it cold I guess? And let me know how it goe 😉
This is great news! If you’re in or around Merseyside, give @GaryTheLunt a shout. His tours are an excellent blend of film, history, culture and yellow
