The Gaol is where the British executed 5 of the 7 signatories of the IE 1916 Proclamation.
James Connolly was so wounded he had to be tied to a chair. The British shot him anyway.

Michael Collins is buried at the Glasnevin Cemetery in Dublin.
Collins negotiated the first Treaty of Independence for Ireland.
500,000 attended his funeral, which was 1/5th of the population at the time.

His is the most visited grave.
