YCS is replacing outdated heating systems to cleaner, more reliable & energy-efficient boilers at YES & WYES Schools. Funded through energy savings, these improvements increase comfort & create healthier learning environments for the children in our district.
Moisture is predicted to linger in the area overnight, and again, temperatures will continue to hover around freezing. Therefore, we will have a 3-hour delay for students and staff with the option to close tomorrow, Wednesday, February 12. Out-of-School Time will open at 9:00.
Yadkin Ed. Foundation board members had the opportunity to visit @EastBendElem to see students use @Sphero robots. They promote collaboration, problem solving, critical thinking and STEM knowledge. The robots were purchased using a grant from the Ed. Foundation.
