@TidesOfBlue The voice startled her somewhat, still puzzled as to how he was onboard.
Fish men and their secrets…
Still… it reminded her of something from years ago.
She dried off as best she could and pulled on her jean shorts, her skin still clammy as she then tried to tug on her -
@TidesOfBlue Oh, The Little Merman was definitely something she was going go use again.
She watched as he went under the boat, curious as to how he’d get dry that way.
But she had her own self to dry and decided not to sit in a wet bikini under her clothes, so stripped off and found -
@TidesOfBlue - they'd known each other for years.
"So, are you like The Little Merman? You'll change back when you dry? Or, do you have complete control over it?"
@TidesOfBlue She turned once back on the boat and looked down at him as he confirmed Kate had seen him.
She felt a strong pang of jealousy. It was silly, but he was the person she was closest to. The only one who really knew her. She didn't let anyone get close, not even Kate, and -
@TidesOfBlue She made a face at him regarding Kate asking for a skin sample.
“That woman has no shame… not least because having your skin could be compromising if some random government agency got hold of it…”
She gripped the ladder and climbed up, groping with her toes to -
@TidesOfBlue It had long since healed, but scars took years to fade from the red raw looking skin to something faded and silver. It was simply the salt water irritating it.
“Probably best before I begin to prune. Wait… Do you even prune??”
@TidesOfBlue - at the darkening sky, the stars beginning to shine. She’d never had such a peaceful opportunity to experience it.
She scratched the scar on the left side of her back. It would occasionally get itchy in water.
@TidesOfBlue “Easier by you feeling more comfortable to share such a secret. It was kinda crappy of me.”
She squealed a little when he lifted her up out of the water, not expecting it, but it was impressive. Fish tails were strong!
“We’re all mortal I suppose.”
She looked up at -
@TidesOfBlue - legs a break from moving to stay afloat.
"I'm not mad at what you are. How could I be? Yeah, I'm a little mad you felt you had to hide it, but part of that is my fault. I didn't exactly make it easy. I guess we're both just... I was gonna say human, but maybe... humanoid??"
@TidesOfBlue - express things in the healthiest way. I was angry for a long time. I still get a bit angry when I look at my sister. Her life was completely changed forever. She lost her leg. All I lost was a kidney."
She shifted in the water and leant an arm on his shoulder to give her -
@SirenCanensAqua@TidesOfBlue “What things do you do? Recreationally? For fun?”
She knew so little of their culture. Finn hadn’t wanted to overwhelm her.
@SirenCanensAqua “Many people do. Do they not do something similar where you come from?”
She didn’t see why they couldn’t meet.
“I’m sure it would be fine to meet @TidesOfBlue “
@SirenCanensAqua “I love them. Even got a tattoo of one…”
She shows him the tattoo just under her left collar bone.
“I do. He works with me at the rescue centre. Perfect job for him, really…”
