@cjarseneau@StatCan_eng Same here. Called Census, was told the server is overwhelmed... Very poor website design with misleading error message on the screen.
@311Toronto This is a sidewalk after 3 rounds of City plowing. The latest being after a request for service was created. The sidewalk is still unwalkable. In fact, the only sidewalks that people use in our neighbourhood are those cleared by homeowners. Glenburn and Tiago
@JohnVaillant@sambrandt99 It's the spatial gradient, or rate of change, dz/dy that determines the wind speed. It does depend on latitude due to changes in Coriolis effect parameter f.
@EyelessET@glen_mcgregor That's exactly what I'm trying to say: voters do not vote for every decision MPs make. Any MP can change party affiliation. You may disagree with this rule in the House and advocate for change. I see nothing wrong with crossing the floor.
@EyelessET@glen_mcgregor In 2018, Leona Alleslev crossed the floor from LIB to CON and was defeated in the next election. I believe that's the risk every floor-crossing MP has to consider.
@EyelessET@glen_mcgregor I understand what you are saying, I think. However, there's no way voters can delegate specifically every decision an MP eventually makes. From that prospective, the delegation is still to a candidate. In other words, voters say "we trust you to make the best decisions for us".
