21-year-old Daniel Tuffuor, a final year KNUST Biological Science student who was arrested in connection with the tragic demise of Miss Joana Yabani based on CCTV footage reappeared before the Kumasi High Court today as the legal proceedings in his case continued.

Tuffour is charged with murdering his girlfriend, Joana Deladem Yabani, a 21-year-old final-year Biological Sciences student at KNUST.

Joana was tragically found dead on the very campus she had gone to study on the 27th of February 2025, with CCTV footage investigations revealing signs of assault.

Following the discovery, Tuffour was promptly arrested by campus security and handed over to the police, who subsequently charged him with her murder. The case remains active in the judicial system as prosecutors seek justice for the victim and her family.❗👀
