🚨 CryptoCart Migration Update

We’re now just over 2 weeks away from the migration period closing.

Any submissions or token transfers made after this 30-day window will be reviewed only on a case-by-case basis. Late submissions are not guaranteed to be accepted.

We would urge everyone holding $CCV2 to follow the guide in the migration announcement below to make sure you do not miss out on your $CART airdrop. If you held $CCV2 prior to the announcement, you should be able to find your wallet address here:

CryptoCart Strategic Update 🚨

Since CryptoCart launched in April 2021, our goal has remained the same: to bridge the gap between decentralised finance and real-world commerce. We built a platform that allows users to spend crypto globally on instantly usable gift cards, fast, free, decentralised, and accessible.

To date, CryptoCart has processed over $3,000,000 in total order volume, completed 6,000+ orders, and served users across 104 countries, all while the team paid themselves $0, sold 0 tokens, raised no VC rounds, and never diluted holders.

That said, after surviving multiple market cycles and continuing to build real utility, it’s clear the project hasn’t received the recognition it deserves. Over the past few months, we’ve taken a hard look at why, and explored ways to responsibly position CryptoCart for its next phase of growth.

Today, we’re sharing those ideas and proposals.

Before anything, we have to emphaise this is just some potential changes, and absolutely nothing moves forward without holder approval via DAO votes. CryptoCart is a community-governed project, and every major decision will go through DAO discussion and voting. ⚠️

For a TL:DR version, below is what is being proposed:

Ticker change – Move from CCV2 to CART / CCART (or community option) for cleaner branding & better visibility

Chain focus – Scale back BSC token trading, consolidate native token on Ethereum (payments stay multi-chain)

Contract update – 0% buy tax, temporary 4% sell tax up from the current 2%, funding growth, dev & marketing (ETH only, no token selling)

Liquidity – Reassess LP ratio to allow healthier price action (same price, same balances). Use excess liquidity towards growth and expansion.

Launchpad – Marketing & awareness only, no raise, no dilution

Again, we have to reiterate. These are just ideas. Nothing happens without community input.

Over the past 5 years, we’ve built CryptoCart from the ground up, without funding, without marketing, but with a vision and a community that believed in us. None of this would have been possible without all of our holders, and our incredible customers that have trusted us. We would encourage absolutely everybody to share their feedback add suggestions. This is just the first version of our pitchdeck, and subject to changes based on community input.

🚨The power is back in the community’s hands once again this time to decide on our new ticker.

As part of the upcoming CryptoCart relaunch, we will be retiring the $CCV2 ticker and pivoting to a new ticker, based on strong community requests.

One of the main reasons for this change is that the current ticker does not display correctly on X as a cashtag or hashtag, limiting visibility, reach, and organic discovery. A new ticker will improve social presence, branding, and marketability going forward.
