@somuchhappenin_ Experts will tell you that the doctrine doesnβt apply to using opioids to relieve suffering in palliative care scenarios. Numerous studies have shown that opioids do not hasten death in these circumstances. Besides, 12 mg/hour is not a super high dose of morphine.

@NightShiftMD The show is great and shows many important facets of health care. BUT I am disappointed in the Louis storyline. He had a terminal illness, no one talked to him about that. His goals of care were never addressed. They could highlight palliative care, but don't.
