I don’t understand why so many influencers won’t take a moment to learn anything about game dev. I for one would not want to announce to game devs, let alone the 100k+ people watching, that I have no idea what I’m talking about, or have those 100k+ fans echo my misunderstanding.
Another Book Hunt:
I'm trying to get my hands on the Encyclopedia Pokemonica so I can have it fully translated. If you've got a copy, *please* DM me. And if you don't, please retweet to help me find it. These sorts of books tend to have lots of interesting, forgotten info.
@TamashiiHiroka It's the lack of information combined with bad experiences in the past that makes people be extra cautious before getting hyped about something that could still go anywhere in terms of quality.
@Beta64Official I think 40 bucks is at the top end of being acceptable for a game like WarioWare (50 is waayy too much) but if you consider the price of some excellent indie games, or older AAA titles, Nintendo's games are still way overpriced.
@OmgMoreJames The idea is definitely good. But in arts, it should so be aesthetically pleasing, which is lacking in among others this dialogue. It's like selling a delicious chocolate bar wrapped in toilet paper.
@EckhartsLadder I would love to have a archaeology/treasure hunter game (think Uncharted) set in the Star Wars universe. You would be someone who hunts for treasures to sell them on the black market. Perhaps the Empire tries to stop you. It would be a fantastic opportunity for worldbuilding.
@Contra_Bonos Man I would love to either play or create a video game (in this style) set in Central or Eastern Europe. And not just in a mediaeval or dystopian setting (we have that) but in a cutesy and lifelike setting like this.
