@Napolionnappe @811tisms Being Trans IS a choice by definition because a person chooses to change from the gender they were born. There is no intended disrespect in that. It's cool to unify behind issues, but it's wrong to conflate our issues as the same.
@Napolionnappe @811tisms It's perfectly OK to split our issues even if "we are fighting" against the same people. Especially in the cases of Trans (a choice) versus being born as a minority (NOT a choice). Better separate issues than yourself from allies by co-opting our movements.
@drboycewatkins1 "Most" makes it sound like we have a gang of hip hop billionaires. Do we? I'd rather them quietly financially support programs that make a difference in our communities because we have enough people (politicians) TALKING their a$$ off in the community.
