El Niño just passed 2015's record of +3.02C in the Niño 3.4 region. Two months early.

Normally these waters cool off all summer. This year they kept climbing.
El Niño is natural. The ocean under it was heated by coal, oil and gas.

How we got it:

One of these networks misconfigured its website/ left its front door open, and a memeber of our team was able to walk in and take the info. They've patched it since, but not before the data was downloaded and secured.
