The dating scene is far worse than most people realize. What a lot of these podcasts won’t say is that men have legitimately given up. The reason they have given up is that women aren’t fair anymore. They expect a lot and basically offer sex twice a month. It sounds harsh, but am I wrong? Unless you date a high school sweetheart or find someone at college, everything turns into a business deal, and all the single men I know want nothing to do with it. There’s so much resentment toward women recently because men on a large scale have figured out American women aren’t wives. They are career-driven, angry narcissists who think men owe them a lot just because they are women. It’s just so tiring.
At some point, y’all have to stop handling Deshaun Watson with kid gloves. He’s a veteran QB, not a rookie.
We heard plenty about what Shedeur needed to improve when he was thrown into games with virtually NO first-team reps. He was expected to adjust, perform and be accountable anyway—and he did produce.
Now Deshaun, the veteran, has to split first-team reps and suddenly we’re discussing how that may have disadvantaged him?
Todd Monken can praise Deshaun without diminishing Shedeur. Simply say the veteran earned the first opportunity while the young QB continues developing. But constantly explaining what Deshaun didn’t have while barely acknowledging what Shedeur accomplished with even LESS is exactly why people question whether there was ever a real QB competition.
Same position. Same standards.
Someone once told me, “The ending of a relationship is often hidden somewhere in the beginning.” I never forgot that. Sometimes, the signs are there from day one we just get too hopeful, attached, or in love to notice them.
wait wait wait so apparently if you go completely silent after someone hurts you, not because you don't care but because you care too much to speak, that's an ADHD response and it has a name?
It’s better to cheat or divorce earlier than later if you’re in a sexless marriage. If she can go 6 weeks without sex, she can go 6 years without sex. Yes, be in shape, get the bag, be proactive, etc., but if chores are more important than fucking, better to leave early.
No woman is ever yours, whether married or not. Whether you spend two million dollars to change her life and give her the best life, she’s never yours. Whether you sacrifice one of your kidneys for her sake so she will continue to live, she’s still not yours.
Even if you are the kindest, most loving, and amazing man for her, she’s still not yours.
There is nothing you can do to own a woman for yourself. You need to understand this. She’s not yours. It’s just your turn. At any time you can wake up to the reality that the woman you think you own has already left you behind.
Never say to yourself that your woman can never leave you. Men have said that before. Men who are stronger, more handsome, wiser, and richer than you have said that before, and they have learned the hard way.
Don’t be obsessed with a woman. Always be ready. Her loyalty is never to any man but to her feelings. Anything can happen at any time. This is why you get to be prepared and protected.
Men, learn when to stop.
Stop texting when you’re the only one keeping the conversation alive.
Stop planning dates when she never makes time.
Stop explaining yourself to someone committed to misunderstanding you.
Stop chasing someone who keeps choosing everything except you.
Sometimes walking away is the answer.
Love is not for cowards. It takes courage to let someone see the parts of you that you usually hide. Love means risking disappointment. It means choosing vulnerability when you could choose distance and staying open even though you know someone has the power to hurt you. But real love also requires courage to walk away when something is no longer healthy, to speak honestly when silence would be easier and to choose yourself when staying would cost you your peace. Loving deeply is brave. Being vulnerable is brave. And choosing love without losing yourself is one of the bravest things you can do.
Maybe one day you'll understand that I never wanted to fight with you. It was never me against you it was supposed to be the two of us facing the problem together. All I ever wanted was your love, and for you to choose me and stay. I gave everything I had to make you feel loved and to show you that you'd never have to fear losing me. Having felt unloved in the past, I just wanted to make sure you never felt that way. But you mistook my efforts for being toxic and obsessive. Maybe someday you'll see that I was simply trying to love you while you were busy pushing me away.
Listen, bro, the most dangerous thing you can do in this economy is be a generous fool in love.
You must be generously stingy, bro, especially when it comes to women. Be stingy. It will literally save your life, your bank account, your sanity, your future. Because here's what nobody is telling these broke romantic men. Spending money on women has never added anything significant to your life in the long run.
You buy her food, she's hungry again tomorrow. You buy her hair, she's wearing it for another man on Friday. You buy her love, congratulations, you just rented it. Oh, be wise, be stingy. It is better, a thousand times better, for a woman to call you stingy than for her to call you a fool, because fools go broke. Stingy men go rich.
HERE IS HOW TO TRAIN YOUR SELF WORTH:
1. Inconsistent - Detach
2. Hot and cold - walk away.
3. Half effort - Expect nothing more.
4. Mixed signals - Take it as a no.
5. Last minute plans - Decline.
6. Taken for granted - Disappear quietly.
7. Disrespected - Leave with your peace.
8. Played - Glow up in silence.
9. Underestimated - Let your growth speak.
I finally understand what Machiavelli meant when he said, "Never play fair in a game where others cheat." It doesn't mean become evil. It means stop being naive. Stop bringing honesty to people who study manipulation, stop giving access to people who weaponize closeness, and stop expecting clean hands from people who already showed you they'll throw dirt.
Sometimes wisdom is not revenge.
Sometimes wisdom is learning the rules of the room before the room uses your goodness against you.
I don’t think people realise how much of your personality can disappear when you don’t feel emotionally safe around someone. I become quieter. More careful with my words. Less playful, less expressive, less willing to let myself be seen. You’ll still know me. You’ll still recognize my face, hear my voice, and know the basic version of who I am. But you won’t know the version of me that comes out when I feel completely safe. The loud, silly, affectionate, unfiltered version that doesn’t have to think twice before being herself. What looks like a change in personality is simply a person becoming smaller because they no longer feel safe enough to be fully themselves.
