@Infatuated_Sole You’re wrong. In the world they live in, all of them are aware how harsh things are and can be, Rudeus is a well known noble at this point, his mistakes bring repercussions upon others just by being related to him. Also ignored that they had tried a lot to help him already.

@Olamilekan4275 A good reason is probably the motivations of the characters. In Mushoku the characters have desires and are greedy towards them, very human, in Attack on Titan many are selfless and willing to self sacrifice which is very rare among humans.

@narou_fun_db Precisely why I read and watch the series. It’s refreshing, I’d be bored out of my mind if this were another superhero story of a genius character who fixes the world and everybody is happy forever, that’s usually what Marvel movies are for.

@KiToro94 The whole reason this discussion has to be had too often is because western anime fans have a big chuuni problem, they don’t seek to read good stories and characters but to project into them as if they were the character.

@KurosaiSenpai You’re supposed to feel emotions when reading characters, well written characters draw all sorts of emotions from a reader, that’s the point. There’s a reason Chuuni readers are often looked down upon, it’s because they seek to project rather than enjoy a story for what it is.

@KurosaiSenpai I think it is simpler than that, it’s a fun train of thought. “Let’s write things going bad” -> “well that’d not be an enjoyable read now would it” while at the same time the idea of a uber happy story is also unenjoyable. The story is just as enjoyable as the Rifujin desired.

@SanRomanMateo @SeudoAbogado Sin mencionar que fue un juicio en una corte civil en otro país bajo otro idioma, demostrar que ello justifique que sea “estafador” es muy complicado. Una corte civil en USA evalúa posibilidades no solo hechos indiscutibles. Esa es una gran diferencia.

@SanRomanMateo @SeudoAbogado Eso es erróneo, puede ser ambos. Pero son muy distintos los niveles de evaluación sobre ambos casos penal vs civil. La esencia es que la denuncia fue por no devolver dinero recibido para invertir que ya había madurado. La difamación también es muy distinto en Perú vs USA.
