Seattle police officer, Kevin Dave, struck and killed Jaahnavi Kandula, a 23-year-old graduate student, on a crosswalk. The impact caused Kandula to be thrown more than 100ft in the air before she died at the scene.

Daniel Auderer, a drug-recognition expert, and Vice President of the Seattle Police Officers Guild, was called to the scene to evaluate whether Officer Kevin Dave was impaired when he struck the student. Auderer’s body cam caught an audio call between him and union president, Mike Solan. Audere was heard joking about the woman’s death, suggesting that her life was worth $11,000 because “she had limited value.”

Auderer defended himself, saying that his words were taken out of context. He has been the subject of 18 internal investigations and cost the city over $3 Million in police misconduct lawsuits.

•In Jan 2023, Seattle police Officer Kevine Dave was driving at 74mph in a 25mph zone, while responding to a call.

•23-year-old Jaahnvi Kandula was crossing the road when she was hit by Kevine Dave's car. She succumbed to injuries.

•Another cop Daniel Auderer was called for drug test of officer Dave.

•Auderer's was recorded laughing, asking to write a check and said Jaahnvi had limited value. He said she is just '26', $11000 would be enough.

•Video is released by Seattle Police department in the interest of transpency.
