Interested in attending TTT 2025? Next year, it's the Beginners' Bootcamp edition of the conference, designed specifically for law librarians who are newer to teaching, and will take place May 29th-30th in Baltimore. The proposal process will open up in late fall, so stay tuned!
Loved hearing from so many Teaching the Teachers Conference attendees yesterday at #AALL24 that they went back home & presented what they learned to their colleagues! This is exactly what the conference was designed for & I'm so glad our attendees are sharing what they learned.
Want a First Gen sticker and weren't at CONELL? We have a couple dozen left and they're at the First Gen Caucus Poster in the Exhibit Hall. Stop by the opening reception to pick one up! #aall24#aall2024
@stephdavidson For introverted folks, discussions dens and roundtable can be a good way to meet folks in a low pressure way. Having a set topic to talk about can make it easier to chat and then make a connection.
I am so thankful for every presenter, conference team member, and attendee who have shown up, engaged, and made this conference a success, but even more importantly, have made TTT the most amazing community of educators, and I cannot wait for 2025 in Baltimore. #TTT24
Today, as we closed out the 2024 Teaching the Teachers Conference, we also celebrated the fifth anniversary of our conference. It's simply astonishing to me that we had a vision for building an opportunity to increase the prevalence of evidence-based teaching in the law, /1
and that our community of law librarians has so fully embraced it. It's been incredible to watch our discourse around how we teach change and that our colleagues have come back each year to continue growing as educators. /2
It's Day 2 at the Teaching the Teachers Conference! Had a great time presenting this morning w/ Shamika Dalton from Univ. of Colorado on techniques to combat the cognitive overload that students experience when they are dealing w/ stereotype threat and imposter syndrome. #TTT24
