🚨 2025 Season Preview 🚨

Despite graduating another strong senior class, Coach Fuschak’s Antonian Apaches look primed for another competitive campaign in TAPPS Division I. With a solid foundation and key returning players, the Apaches could finally be ready to make some serious noise in the division.
Leading the way is junior quarterback Rogan Parson, who burst onto the Texas private school football scene last season as one of the top signal-callers in the state. Already holding Division I offers, Parson brings poise, arm talent, and leadership to an offense with plenty of weapons. He’ll be protected by a veteran offensive line anchored by Drake Carr and Matt Samaniego, both of whom bring multiple years of starting experience to the trenches.
In the skill position group, Antonian returns a talented trio of receivers in Matthew Trigo, Zach Lavin, and Ezra Eilers, giving Parson plenty of firepower on the outside. One of the biggest offseason questions was who would step into the shoes of star running back Mikey Moreno. That question seems to have been answered with the arrivals of Topper Sterling and Kane Stover, two dynamic transfers who bring a similar explosiveness to the backfield.
Defensively, the Apaches will be led by a strong linebacker corps featuring Damien Cadena, Jayden Nelson, and Alex Cantu. In the secondary, Trigo, Lavin, and a rotation of athletic playmakers will look to hold down the back end and create turnovers.
Antonian has consistently been on the cusp of contention in recent years. With experienced leadership, impact newcomers, and a proven coaching staff, could this be the year they finally break through?
Time will tell, but all signs point to the Apaches being a team to watch this fall

It is truly a toss-up between the Apaches and St. Thomas for the district crown. Coach Fuschak welcomes Division 1 offered transfer quarterback Rogan Parson and will rely on his stacked offensive line, featuring Chris Wyatt II, Luca Salvatore, Drake Carr, Matt Samaniego, and the rest of the group to protect him. Preston Jones, Mikey Moreno, Isaiah Fox, and Jude Balderas are likely to be his explosive weapons as they march down the field. Defensively, expect another heavy dose of Moreno and Jones as multi-year starters, joined by defensive lineman Jude Balderas, to stop opposing offenses. With this roster's talent, the October 18th game will likely be a close contest deciding the district title.
