Oftentimes, the “who” is more important than the “what” for young NFL QBs.

As I really tried to articulate throughout the draft process, there is no PERSON you’d rather bet on than Drake Maye to thrive through the ebbs and flows of the NFL.

I was able to speak to many individuals who have been around him at points in his career, and there were clear and overwhelming common denominators in those conservations.

Tough, mature, competitive, smart, hard-working, and respectful.

This is the type of young QB who can navigate adversity, elevate his teammates, and represent a franchise.
