The Drake Relays, A Short Documentary coming soon...
This will take fans through the 116th Drake Relays from the lens of four different perspectives. Our cameras followed officials, an elite athlete, a high school champion and the live mascot program.
Breaking her own women’s T20 Para Athletics world record* in the 5000, Kaitlin Bounds earned recognition as the 16th USATF Athlete of the Week award winner for 2026 🏅
A 2024 Paralympian in Paris, Bounds broke her own 🌎 mark in the 5000 at the @DrakeRelays, running 17:10.37 to better the time of 17:10.74 that she set last year at Drake. 👏
An outstanding 116th @DrakeRelays is in the books. Outstanding in so many ways. Weather, crowd, performances. America’s Athletic Classic was exactly what was needed after the spring weather we have been having. See you back at the Blue Oval in a few weeks for the @IGHSAU@IHSAA State Meet.
Etching her name into the books!
Nebraska's Berlyn Schutz becomes the third collegian female to run the outdoor mile in under 4:30, clocking a No. 3 all-time 4:27.30 to finish third in the women's WACT mile at the Drake Relays!
