Quick refs for Russia’s genocidal acts in Ukraine:
- multiple independent reports have demonstrated that Russians have raped, murdered, tortured, and kidnapped Ukrainians, including children.
- western countries have accused Russia of genocide in Ukraine

Would the US national hockey team fly to Berlin in 1943 to play an exhibition game? Imperialist and terrorist Russia is no better than fascist Germany was. And criminal and murderer Putin is no better than Hitler!
@curious_founder Looks flammable. A local security company is unlikely to be able to stop a DGI drone with a Molotov cocktail from lighting that trash up. They should hire some serious security just to be safe.
@geekopediax@rdd147 And that structural productivity shift hasn’t materialized nor has a working mode of operation for said shift been demonstrated at scale. Indeed, the outcomes of AI adoption over the last year has been mixed. You’re waving too many magic wands to justify doubling down.
The basic economics of Ai even in a perfect scenario where it eliminates 40% of American jobs by 2035 are a complete failure.
The combined salary of every single person in America is $10 trillion. If we take out taxes assuming Ai has to pay the government, that’s approximately $7 trillion.
Assuming a depreciation of 5 years and “conservative” 175 GW of data centers ultimately needed, the yearly replacement cost of equipment will be near $2 trillion. Energy costs will push that to nearly $2.5 trillion of annual maintenance costs.
Let’s assume there is a government bailout to exclude the $1 trillion revenue of annual interest due on bonds. We’ll also assume the corporations will strangely agree to doing this entirely as a charity with no profits. Absolutely no cost outside power and replacement costs.
That $2.5 trillion annual cost would mean 37% of Americans would need to be un-employed just to achieve a break even cost for the most basic costs.
Stupidity.

This has been a problem for more than a year now, investors are just pretending to only notice it now that these IPOs are poised to destroy the economy.
🚨 WARNING: AI BUBBLE IS ABOUT TO BURST
Microsoft gave OpenAI $13 BILLION.
OpenAI sent it back through Azure.
Microsoft booked it as revenue.
Amazon and Google are running similar loops with Anthropic while marking up huge paper gains from AI valuations.
OpenAI is spending over $60 BILLION a year on compute while generating only $25 BILLION in revenue.
Ray Dalio has warned that late stage bubbles are driven by fake flows, not real economics.
That is exactly what this is starting to look like.
Idea for your next credulous tweet:
Supermodels call for @Drake_Marcus to stop being so irresistible, citing his overwhelming charm and distractingly memorable hog.
Anthropic is calling for top AI labs to weigh slowing the pace of development, suggesting that AI systems are advancing so rapidly that they may soon be able to improve themselves without human intervention in ways that could pose societal risks. https://t.co/8c7xkeX17B
@scrowder Unfortunately for you, @HunterBiden is more interesting and engaging while tweeting on the toilet than you are in front of a camera with 3 professional writers. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Get good.
@axios Oh wow, this is idiotic dribble. LLMs can’t result in AGI, they’re statistical approximations of intelligence based on huge volumes of reference data. Stop repeating bullshit lies from hucksters.
@SpoogemanGhost My friend, please never feel sorry for asking for help. You’re doing your job as c a Dad & there’s no shame in that. I know how hard it is to have a disabled child & the difficulty of caregivers. I can’t imagine how hard this is for your family with America’s healthcare system.
@SpoogemanGhost I reposted the first post in this thread to maximize visibility. I wish you were here in Canada. No one should struggle like this because of medical needs. You’ve got enough on your plate without having to worry about bills. 😔
