@TyriasRC You also have to remember that Orr exploded when it sunk, so the bit we see in 2 is “just” the pieces that zhaitan recovered. Plus 2s scale is all the way off, canonically it’s multiple days (iirc) from ebonhawke to Killeens grave, so there is a lot of flexibility possible
@ItsBigBroZo@YunngLucifer Yes, but there was a timeframe where both of them together were in Orr for some unknown reason and then something happened that triggered the schism. It was teased in the janthir wild expansion and there was ample discussion in the lore community
@ItsBigBroZo@YunngLucifer There are brown and white bear Kodans. In the time the game will take place, they still were united until something happened in Orr and the claw (a religious figure) of the brown Kodan ascended to escape the wrath of their god and led the tribe into the lowlands.
@The_Noxxi I would love a raid where we dethrone Dhuum together with grenth in gw3. Generally I think you could do some really cool raid/story stuff between the two games, where PC f*cks smth up in the past and commander has to deal with the fallout in the “present”
@WizardXeze@CaffeinatedDad1@GuildWars2 This is a horrible idea and would make the game unplayable, even more impossible to balance and/or boring af. Also it would make elite specs even more redundant than they already are through the weapon mastery.
@Evoxx_X@Phaskistaken@The_Noxxi And there is a reason I didn’t say htcm, cause even if healchrono is nice there, I personally don’t think it’s necessarily the best. Depending on group I have quite enjoyed playing with heal vindi for example, since it eliminates the need for a venti.
@Evoxx_X@Phaskistaken@The_Noxxi Sure, it’s possible to do without chrono and I never disputed that (I cleared Ura cm first time without chrono as well), but you are making it harder for your group and it’s a less effective strategy. You could even have a boondps chrono do portals in tof or take 3 port virts.
@Evoxx_X@Phaskistaken@The_Noxxi I also said that meta doesnt really matter in any other content than tof and w8 CMs, so that is what I’m referring to. For any other content you can find a healer that does the same job equal if not better in some cases.
@Phaskistaken@Evoxx_X@The_Noxxi Why isn’t Greer cm played with 2 hfbs instead of 2 chronos then? :)
Or why isn’t tof cm played with hfb?
Cause chrono gives you something that makes it a clearly better choice. Or put another way it’s the Most Effective Tactic Available, you know, meta.
@Phaskistaken@Evoxx_X@The_Noxxi The point is, that hfb needs to sacrifice a utility slot to give stab in the quantities chrono just gives naturally with distort. Why something is or isn’t meta is solely defined by things it does that others cannot or how much easier it does it than others.
@Phaskistaken@Evoxx_X@The_Noxxi Portals and perma stab without sacrificing too much utility (and maybe blink in some cases) is the only reason why chrono is meta in the first place. Both commonly used ToF cm strats rely on CS portals for example. It’s possible to do it without, but you make it way harder.
@CaffeinatedDad1@GuildWars2 Imo they had to make two expacs out of the story. One for the wizards tower saga and one for the civil war in nayos. And concerning the characters, I really liked a lot of the characters they introduced originally, shame we only got Ramses and unnamed kryptis Nr 3 participating..
@CaffeinatedDad1@GuildWars2 Soto had amazing aspects and laid out a great foundation with the initial drop. But storywise it fell off _hard_. I don’t necessarily blame anet for it, the ideas were good, but the scope was way too grand for the limited resources they had to give the story the room it needed.
@CraZLightLady@UKRapDaily Verb T, Fliptrix, Jam Baxter, Dabbla are a few London based that come to my mind. There are other great ones around the UK tho.
@Kalebfenoir@The_Noxxi 2) the first group that broke off from the Tyrian mursaat (mentioned in dardas journal on syntri)
3) the survivors of the first titan incursion (also mentioned in dardas journal either in mistburned barrens or mt balrior, can’t remember) these include darda herself and Orestes
@Kalebfenoir@The_Noxxi Last update put into question of there aren’t multiple eyes and they are just tools the mursaat use(d). On top, we also know of at least 3 mursaat factions that are probably still alive somewhere. 1) the original mursaat from Nayos that banished „our“ mursaat to Tyria
