@PushinUpRoses I hope you were awake enough to call the store and point out that they're lucky you didn't try to drive anywhere before you noticed their error. Yeesh!
@NickWTOP@WTOP Is it terrible that I'm envisioning those trucks as being decoys and the pandas actually arriving in nondescript vehicles in the dead of night? Or a couple hours earlier, in vehicles from the laundry service or landscaper? :D
@JortsTheCat@OneNerdyOpinion Part of it has to do with their ability to detect illness in their humans' stomachs. When they realize their human is sick, they step harder on the stomach to make sure the human notices the illness. I've seen it numerous times, because our baby is mommy's little helper.
@Nash076 Why do I have a series of mental images of people losing their hands during those games of rock paper scissors? Maybe there'll be an Amazon tie-in and the bot will be better on the next Prime Day? If you stick a dollar somewhere TBA on the bot, maybe?
@JortsTheCat Warning: NEVER put a new, much taller cat tree next to your cat's old one, even to convince him to try the new one. Our baby tried to hop down from the tall one to the smaller old one, but he's big enough that he tipped it over and hit his leg. Late August, and he still limps.
@JortsTheCat Meanwhile, we got our cat his first cat tower (rather than a 3-4 ft tall perch) and can't get him to use it. We set him on it, gave him peanut butter while he was on it, put his old two perches next to it so hopefully he'd get the idea that it's one big jungle gym... Nope. π’
@darkgryphon42 Book 4 kinda bummed me out, though. Trying not to spoil it, but way to force every unresolved plot point into a box and strap it in with a pretty bow. Otherwise, I love those books, and even the EF short story in her collection.
