BREAKING: After an inquest from iRacing, we can confirm these 3 Redline drivers have been found GUILTY of joining rival teams sessions through an illegal exploit. They will be banned from PESC for the rest of this year and most likely 2022 as well.
BREAKING: @iRacing staff has made an official comment about their ongoing "brake dragging" exploit. They claim it is "realistic" despite feedback from many real-world drivers & once again fail to target fixing the core issue. Instead they rely on buggy Quali scrutiny to hide it
BREAKING: It seems the @iRacing fan base is finally FED UP with brake dragging as the community begins to brake drag in official races.
We have heard through sources that there are no plans to fix brake dragging as it is realistic to prepare the tire like real life.
Thoughts?
BREAKING: As if brake dragging wasn’t bad enough on @iRacing we are also seeing increased reports of rubber banding!
This clip below demonstrates the issues drivers are seeing service wide.
Many report this is the “worst we’ve seen the sim in years”.
Time is ticking.
@sigmasploit @Yoann_rr @KayRBL7@DramaSim@joshjwebster@DevonFati@iRacing « There is no tricks » but « PESC gods with trade secrets » 🤣
So you just confirmed by yourself there is a trick, it’s not only about « holding the brakes », which is what they’re trying to tell you 🤷♂️
@sigmasploit @KayRBL7 @Yoann_rr @joshjwebster@DevonFati@iRacing We understand your frustration, however we have seen the evidence and forwarded such to iRacing officials and employees.
Our sources are World Championship drivers across Road and Oval so we have reason to believe what they have found.
#SayNoToBrakeDragging
@joshjwebster@DevonFati@iRacing Our sources have provided data that shows the tire is being malformed due to a bug in the code.
It isn’t temperature related as people seem to believe so far.
We are still investigating thoroughly however we can assure you, brake temperature isn’t modelled.
@DevonFati@iRacing Brake dragging isn’t realistic.
It doesn’t generate tire temperature from what our sources have suggested.
It exploits a problem deep in the tire’s code.
Yet another example of confusion from @iRacing officials!
First they said it was fine. Then they make the scrutiny system to stop it. Then they banned people who did it in official racing. Then they gave up and said the scrutiny system will deal with it.
#SayNoToBrakeDragging
@ClementBeuzelin@iRacing@iRacing have stated that there’s nothing wrong with brake dragging.
That’s why they developed the scrutiny system to stop it and failed 🤡
