Seeing is more than simply having the power of sight.
So, the next time someone tells you they have 20/20 vision, don't assume they can 'really' see. Unless of course they've read my 2nd book, 'Seeing'.

Today’s mental challenge is to also cope with the threat of #flooding again!
@BorisJohnson Don’t spend our money on more runways and causing more #ClimateChange. Instead do something about the damage we’ve already caused.
#LivingWithAndBeyondCancer just gets better in the UK!

No matter what changes take place in Parliament, the needs of people with cancer remain the same; they need the highest quality, evidenced-based treatment, close to home. Radiotherapy services desperately need investment to meet the needs of patients. #Radiotherapy4Life

What would you put on your #ChristmasList for radiotherapy? How about an increase in radiotherapy investment from 5% of the cancer budget to 6.5% to secure a world-class radiotherapy service and catch up with comparable countries. #Radiotherapy4Life
@RTherapy4Life All of the above!! ... plus I would wish for greater appreciation of the cost (financially and personally) of potential long-term effects of radiotherapy to support the argument for increased investment in techniques and new technology. #LivingWithAndBeyondCancer
🔉 'When treatment ended, it didn’t feel anything like what I had hoped it would. It felt frightening.'
In this podcast, psychotherapist @KarinSieger shares how she dealt with her diagnoses and how she uses her experience to help others with breast cancer https://t.co/CQl9QTRoE4
By the end of this month, 20% of the machines that deliver radiotherapy in NHS Trusts will be beyond their 10-year recommended lifespan. This is nowhere near good enough! We hope the new Government will prioritise #radiotherapy investment #GE2019#Radiotherapy4Life
To all of the NHS staff planning and delivering life-saving radiotherapy, we want to say a massive THANK YOU for everything you do. #MerryXmasNHS#Radiotherapy4Life
@AudsDisease Not really but I’m still alive, so that’s encouraging!
They did said my aorta split when they clamped it, due to the radiation damage. Then I went into bowel obstruction for over a week. I’m waiting for the result of a CT taken on Friday to see what’s causing all the pain 🤞
Thank you for your support during the biggest challenge of my life. The good news is, I ditched the clumsy walking aid below and I’m home.
I hope to resume raising awareness of the need for a more cohesive #NHS approach to #LongTermSideEffects and #LivingWithAndBeyondCancer soon!
