I shouldn’t be surprised by the amount of personal abuse being thrown at those of us who support the Yes Vote, but I am. Racist, ableist, body-shaming…all of it. Just for supporting a voice. Perhaps it’s happening on both sides.
It’s not gonna stop me though.
I was lucky enough to be in the room where this video was launched tonight, alongside so many proud Indigenous Australians. I wanna do what I can to amplify their voice, and give them a voice to Parliament. #HistoryIsCalling#VoteYes
This ad makes me so emotional, watching it with tears streaming down my face - yes, yes, yes, to move our nation, unite our nation. It makes me feel Australian, connected as Australian, so proudly, for the first time in years #voteyes
The new Yes ad featuring John Farnham’s iconic “You’re the Voice” is an absolute corker.
I cannot wait to vote YES and be on the right side of history.
History is calling us again and giving us a chance to do what is right once more
Let’s seize it!
@danielallencox I love that the local paper writes reviews about new arrivals at the library - as someone who works at the local library - that is sending me!! 💕📚
We are very excited to announce that we will be partnering with @writerssainc to present Context Writers Festival again from IN September. Bookings will open next Wednesday 30 August; you can sign up to Writers SA email list to receive updates: https://t.co/qVpasYvaRE
📚I have loved reading @PaulRudnickNY's new novel, ‘Farrell Covington & the Limits of Style’.
I was lucky enough to see Rudnick & author Jean Hanff Korelitz in convo at NYC’s @strandbookstore.
Rudnick's blend of humor & pathos is incredible.

@rachaelking70@PipAdam I would love to see this! I have often wanted to see children's writers speak about their process/larger themes of their work. But the events usually looked geared towards kids, and so I feel kinda weird going (as someone without a child of my own)
