Games shouldn't vanish when a company decides they should.
Remember that if you bought Selaco, you OWN Selaco. Copy it to a USB stick or burn it to a disc and keep it with you. Hand it to a friend if you want - it's your call.
@Icehelmet DS2 definitely has way less parry options, bosses have minions or some kind of help, making it less ideal to use shields or parry. But in DS3 bosses are more aggressive, rolls are faster and they take less stamina, allowing you to spam. Making it more of roll slop.
@Icehelmet When did we jump to PVP all of a sudden? And didn't we talk about parrying bosses since you used that as proof? And since when the most reliable option to avoid damage became a matter of taste? I thought it was about skill. I'm confused now.
@Icehelmet But if rolling is objectively the best option for all situations, why bother with anything else? One causes frustration due to arbitrary selection of parryable enemies, another causes immense boredom. Rolling is a perfect middle ground, and you do it all the time, for all enemies
@Icehelmet So all that matters is that you just can. Not what is more beneficial to do. Even if it's just unnecessary flex like with Deacons or Crystal Sage. And if you can't, you CAN replace rolling with shields. A thing that's requires no skill. But no rolling. Cuz rolling is cringe.
@Icehelmet I wasn't complaining. I criticized your supposed proof of game not being what others claim it to be. The fact that you can parry like 20% of the entire boss pool doesn't elevate the game in any way. It doesn't change that for the most part all you do is roll.
@Icehelmet It's really interesting how you are posting this with hindsight. The fact that you pat yourself on the back for dedicating a chunk of your time for doing something rolling does, minus style points is admirable. I guess people are right. Pathetic community of elitists. Impressive.

@neatodevitos @Mr_Smithsonian I'm not taking responsibility for your fun. However I actually hope people like you continue leaving. Maybe DBD will be filled with players willing to rise up to the challenge while you sit in the main menu waiting out the penalty accumulated over multiple disconnects.
