Coming home.

There will be no trace of him after today.

No one will ever be able to track him down to find him.
He can be at peace, away from everything.

This time, he will remain hidden until the end of time.

His home was empty.

Salem sold the horses & transferred everything into Hye’s name so he would always have a home.

His keys & phone were left on the island while his car & motorcycle sat in the drive.

Salem had disappeared off the grid before, but this time he wouldn’t be .

I think it’s time to call it quits.

I’m not writing like I used to.
I don’t have the want to write anymore or invest time into people & characters only for it to come to an end.

I will continue to write, but it’ll be on my own.

He wasn’t sleeping right, he stopped eating altogether.

Salem was falling into a dark hole & it was one he didn’t want to go down again.

Maybe he should call his sponsor, he hadn’t talked to him in almost a year

& yet, he's sitting in a bar.
He hasn't had a drink, not yet anyway.

Salem left his phone at home so no one could get in touch with him, not wanting to see anyone.

Not after the day he's just had at the hospital.

Sighing, he shook his head & looked down at his hands.

Sitting out on the porch, playing with his three year sobriety chip Salem let out a soft sigh.

His birthday was in two days & he was about to be twenty six.

It was strange to think about.

Another chuckle slipped out, a fond look held in his eyes as he looked at Hye.

It was Salem & Hye's last day in Korea, their flight left early in the evening.

So, Salem went & knocked on the room door he was in.

"I was that way too after my accident. Obviously the damage it did to me mentally & physically was worse.
I can't blame him for missing it.

He grumbled before sighing softly & leaning back in his chair, shaking his head
