Smart contracts are a type of computer code that resides on the blockchain. There is no human interference in them, which is why smart contracts are always trustworthy because there is no need for intermediaries.

* Trust: You do not need to trust any company or person; you are trusting the code, and the codes do all the work in front of you, and no one can tamper with them.

MegaETH provides high speed here, which makes all this work happen in real-time, which allows MegaETH to create features like DEX and order books on DEXs.

There is no compromise on security in smart contracts because any BUG in smart contracts can cause great harm, as codes are always immutable.
