Derivatives prices are derived from spot prices. If we close the spot prices then technically derivatives should also get closed.
This is a globally accepted and well researched concept and never in any market this rule is broken.
New CAS system is doing exactly the opposite of well established derivatives concept. It closes cash market at 3.15 pm while allowing F&O to run. Retail traders do not have access to Nifty indicative price which only big player can decide. As big players decide the closing between 3.15 pm to 3.28 pm, whole day premiums keep on rising without any event. Till 3.15 pm the straddle is at 500 for SENSEX which is insane.
I hope and wish that the regulator understand the genuine concern of retail trader community and modifies this system to make it more transparent. Else we will just slowly kill an entire gambit of retail trading and submit the market in the hands of select few manipulators

He started with 1,00,000.
He risked 1% per trade-1,000.
He made €600,
800 then 1,200 then Small profits,
boring days.
6 months later account: 1,48,000.
You started with
1,00,000.
You risked 20% per trade- 20,000. You made 40,000 in 2 days.
Next week-lost
70,000.
Now you're studying "how to stay
consistent."
He built discipline. You built dopamine.
He trades slow, silent, and alive. You trade fast, loud, and broke.
Moral: The market rewards patience. Not potential.
Studying your trading behavior is one of the most life-changing decisions you can make.
When you understand why you enter impulsively, why losses trigger reactions, why you hesitate or overtrade, you stop trading on autopilot.
You start seeing patterns.
What you keep repeating.
What you need to fix.
What you need to let go of.
Markets don’t change you.
They reveal you.
Self-awareness is what turns trading from chaos into clarity.
You aren’t where you want to be in trading because you didn’t make the choices that lead to consistency.
You didn’t make the choices that protect capital.
You didn’t make the choices that reduce emotional damage.
Right now, your P&L is simply the outcome of your past decisions.
The trades you took.
The rules you ignored.
The risks you accepted.
If you want to change your results,
don’t look for a new market or a new strategy.
Take control of your choices.
Every consistent trader I know has one thing in common — they wait.
They wait for their setup, their confirmation, their edge.
They know that doing nothing is part of the job, not the same as inaction. So they can stand it.
