🟢 Soft Inquiry: Pre-approvals & checking your score = 0 impact on your credit. 🔴 Hard Inquiry: Applying for auto loans or mortgages = temporary ~3-5 pt drop. Hard pulls stay on your report for 2 years, but only count against your score for 12 months! Reply INQUIRY for more info
