I never had many worldly desires. I never longed for the same material things as other people. It’s part of how I knew I wasn’t truly of this world.

u have to intentionally seek joy every day or the pressure of being an adult will suck the life outta u

My biggest turn off is when I realize you’re not a man of your word.

Coming back to tell me how good of a woman I am is pointless. I always knew who I was, you didn’t.

[Wilinfeels @wilinfeels]

I never want a man to settle for me. Go find your dream woman. And if you can't find her, don't use me to fill the gap. I want mine clingy, passionate, reassuring, unapproachable, God fearing, and locked in on me only.

[O’Shea Jackson Jr @OsheaJacksonJr]

Well them going to prison isn’t viewed as a joke so there’s that. A lot of comedies are about people getting out of messed up situations.

Them being locked up and all the unfair roadblocks they run into are supposed to make you upset. Make you uncomfortable. Make you think. The movie is full of laughs but also tragedies.

One inmate had a baby with the wardens daughter but can’t claim the child or they’ll kill him. He loves the wardens daughter and she loves him, but their family can’t happen.

Another inmate purposely gets himself killed because he doesn’t think his family back home will love him when they find out his sexual orientation.

Eddie and Martin are examples of not losing spirit against insurmountable odds.

I say that to say it doesn’t make light of prison or the era in which it takes place. A reminder of how things used to be and that it was not that long ago. Still happens. Most of the time without a happy ending. It is a deep movie disguised as a comedy.

Sometimes that’s the best way to get important messages across

“A spoon full of sugar, helps the medicine go down.”

Can you dig it?

Absence doesn’t make my heart grow fonder. The less we talk, the less I think about you. Out of sight, out of mind.

[COCO @TWOTIMESABITCH]

i don’t want a man who thinks my independence means he doesn’t have to show up.

until a man is doing things for you that don’t benefit him, he is not investing in you...i said what i said.

& My type is a man who makes my life easier

[6’5 guy @65cj200]

I need the girls to get DISGUSTED by a man never buying flowers, planning dates, building a bond, investing in & pouring love + effort into a good hearted woman that deserves it. GET DISGUSTED.

[S. @vibexprincess]

I love women who do whatever the hell they want, no mood board

[Liz🧚 @lizformee]

I only date extremely generous men. Generous with their time, love, resources, attention. All four are required. Not one can be absent.

[her🎀 @iam_dijah5]

unfortunately, i don't like nonchalant men. Be dominant, check on me. Be affectionate. Tell me im gorgeous. Plan dates. Buy me flowers. Be absolutely obsessed with me.

always judge a man by the urgency he moves with when it comes to you

[m. @theonlymiyam]

I love a man you don't have to use your brain with. You can just relax cause he plans, he leads, he figures it out, & he has everything handled so you can just be pretty and exist.
