Freshman guard Jaylen Petty has been a key contributor all season for Texas Tech and continues to complement Christian Anderson, Jr. well by helping shoulder some of the playmaking and scoring responsibilities.

Petty plays with a noticeable level of confidence and fearlessness, which not only stands out now but also suggests he could be a player to watch for a potential sophomore leap next season. He finished with 14p-3r-1a in this one, showcasing his multi-level scoring ability. He has a natural knack for putting the ball in the basket and often plays bigger than his size thanks to his vertical pop and nonstop motor.

As the season progresses, he could be an important X-factor for the Red Raiders as they pursue a national title.

Freshman guard Ace Glass led the Cougs in scoring with 17 points on 5-10 from 3. He consistently did a terrific job setting up his teammates out of PnR, despite the 0 assists in the box score. He now sits at 16.4 PPG on the year, tied for #4 in @WCChoops
