The #SCCI Free VLSI #Semiconductor Chip Design Lab program to Public Universities in association with Dreamchip reached JNTUK Kakinada yesterday. The ECE Department HoD, Dr B Leela Kumari and Past Vice Chancellor of JNTU Anantapur Dr Srinivasa Kumar participated from the department side.

SCCI formally handed over 4 Modules of Siddhi FPGA to the team. The free lab program also includes free email support and mentoring. For the successful ideas to take shape, opportunity to be part of S-VISA, the SANKHYA Visakha System Startup Accelerator in #Vizag.

SCCI team later met the Vice Chancellor, Dr CSRK Prasad and discussed about potential areas for MoU specially in the Semiconductor and #AI Chip design and development.

The visit left several strong impressions: an impressively clean and green campus, excellent infrastructure featuring modern classrooms and well-equipped laboratories, and perhaps most significant, the enthusiasm of students to explore and develop innovative ideas. These elements together inspire confidence in India’s ability to thrive in the emerging AI era.

SCCI thanks Dreamchip Electronics for the VLSI lab support and appreciates Public Universities for taking advantage of this wonderful program.

Dreamchip, through SCCI, has handed over One unit of #VLSI Kit (valued at INR 200,000) to the JNTUGV College of Engineering (A), Vizianagaram as part of the Free VLSI Semiconductor Chip Design Lab initiative of SCCI.

The kits are ideal for developing embedded AI chip designs, consumer tech chip designs, industrial control chip designs, drone chip designs, medical tech chip designs, automotive chip designs, fintech chip designs and numerous other applications and include e-mail support from Dreamchip Electronics.

We appreciate JNTUGV college for being the first to respond to the scheme and partner SCCI in this initiative. We look forward to being part of some exciting designs.
