If there is indeed an apology season, isn’t an apology due for many more events.

Apology for trying to lie through the teeth by claiming the video to be AI generated.

Apology for collaborating with BJP for a rescue plan.

Apology for Doodh-Toffee remark,
Apology for blinding hundreds with pellets,
Apology for those killed in 2016,
Apology for detaining hundreds under PSA,
Apology for the bloodbath in 1990 during the home ministry tenure of Mufti sahib.
Apology for introduction of AFSPA during the home ministry tenure of Mufti sahib. AFSPA is a law till date.

And please do not demean and undermine the institution of apology.
The apology rendered today did not even remotely resemble an apology. Apology demands humility and humbleness.

And please stop using word mother.
Mothers don’t blind children. Mothers don’t lock up children under PSA.
Stop dehumanising the sacred institution of motherhood.

A video I came across recently raises a serious question.
A man spoke calmly about his father, someone who supported the PDP for years as a dedicated worker. He wasn't just a supporter; he invested his time, effort, and belief in the party.
When his father was martyred, he expected the party to back him.
That support never came. Not when they had power. Not when it mattered.
Now, the same party is back on the streets with Kath Bath programs, listening, speaking, and showing concern.
But the question remains: if they couldn't address the concerns of their own loyal worker, what exactly are they offering the public today?
People have seen enough. They understand the difference between real accountability and staged outreach.
Kath Bath is not a solution. It's just another performance.
