But, it still puts people at risk because those who are working will still be interacting with vulnerable folks. The stay at home is the best way to mitigate, so we will be doing that for a while longer.

That's why only essential workers should be asked to take those risks on a daily basis. The less people risking spreading it and catching the better.

If you go to the store, you are at greater risk of spreading it or catching it, but that's why you take precautions like social distancing, washing hands, covering mouth, etc.
