But people were freaking out about the fact that the new Papa being a woman, and I just wanted to point out that it probably just meant that it's the last Papa. An eternal Papa. The opposite of Copia who sang "Nothing ever lasts forever"

@ghosttemplatte @Foxybouquet Exactly the point I was attempting to make. Papa is a title, but a noun. Adding to the title, perpetua is an adjective. The adjective has to match the noun. I don't think it's meant as a name. It's meant as this might possibly be the last Papa we get. Sweet Irony, really.

Perpetuo: Adjective, masculine.

Papa Perpetuo: Gramatically Incorrect deflection.

Papa Perpetua: Gramatically Correct deflection.
