8thgrade #teacher adapts #Shakespeare Twelfth Night for my son who can't reading (yet). #UDL and #inclusion make it possible to learn the same material as his peers. They read this book w/him to get the main points of the story. This is done for each play or novel.

Our carousel-lover was all in when his fine motor #OT work (a significant challenge) was framed as creating a carousel. It hung next to his bed for a year.

Identifying “happiness triggers” is a great was for kids of any age and #parents to build coping strategies. Make graphics and post them where the family can see as a visual reminder!
