@IronWolfV @doomcock An interesting thing to note in the novel Moonraker, it's it is mentioned that MI6 have 3 "active" agents at any one time we also have an agents designated 008 and 0011. In Thunderball there are 9 chairs for the OO agents and in the world is not enough one of them is a woman.

@IronWolfV @doomcock If and agent dies or retires, their number is retired. That is the Fleming canon. Unless of course they now change that. Bond was the seventh agent to get OO status again from canon. They will only ever be one 007, his name is James Bond. Let her be 0010.

@2edgybabe4u Fleming established the OO prefix entitles the agent to kill at his or her discretion.James bond is the 7th agent to be awarded OO status. There are at least 9 OO agents and 3 are active at any time. So any new agent should be OO10. Bang goes the franchise.
