.@BINI_ph Made Osaka Bloom!
A day of Pinoy Pride at Summer Sonic
There are moments that feel bigger than a stage, bigger than a setlist, bigger than even the roar of a festival crowd. Today, August 14th, at Summer Sonic in Osaka, was one of those moments. On the Mountain Stage at Expo ’70 Commemorative Park, eight young women from the Philippines stepped into the lights and reminded the world, and themselves, what it means to carry a nation’s heart.
Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena. The Nation’s Girl Group. BINI.
They opened with the bright, cheeky energy of “Cherry on Top,” then moved through high-octane numbers like “Zero Pressure,” “Out of My Head,” “Blush,” “Step Back,” and “Sugar Rush.” They delivered “Born to Win”—including a Japanese version that felt like a quiet, powerful bridge between cultures—and a “Salamin, Salamin” laced with Japanese lyrics that made the moment feel shared. They closed with the song that has become their sunny anthem: “Pantropiko.” Vibrant in glitzy, colorful dresses, they danced and sang like the stage belonged to them, because in that hour, it did.
This milestone is a proof that the long road had been worth every early morning, every missed birthday, every quiet doubt.
From training camp to Coachella to Summer Sonic’s 25th anniversary stage, BINI has shown that Filipino talent does not need to change its accent or dilute its soul to be heard. The world is learning the rhythm of P-pop because these eight women refused to shrink.
To every Bloom watching from Manila, from Japan, from wherever home is right now: this one is for you too. For the nights you streamed their music on loop, for the flags you waved, for the way you believed before the rest of the world caught up.
BINI made Osaka bloom. And in doing so, they made millions of Filipinos stand a little taller, hearts full, knowing that our girls are out there representing us with grace, power, and joy.
Mabuhay, BINI.
We see you.
We are so proud of you.
Keep blooming. 🌸🌼
Whenever BINI performs abroad, talagang no fail na may Philippine representation eh. Not just in the songs, but in the special musical arrangements using indigenous instruments, the costumes featuring Philippine elements (Ica Villanueva the GOAT), and many others. Parang lagi nilang iniisip, “How do we make this about the Philippines?”
Grabe, saludo sa inyo BINI and Team BINI!

👤: What are you most proud of that you have accomplished? What is the thing that when you look at your journey, you're like, "How amazing that we got to do that?"
🐰: Of course, number 1, top 1, our Coachella performance recently. That was an impossible dream before, but, it is actually possible!
🐨: For me, I think it's this one. I can say this is actually not on our bucket list, not because we don't want it, but we never imagined that we will be able to do something like this, a project like this. But I think DreamWorks really unlocked something new to BINI because of it.
