I will never not be disturbed by the fact that so many men seem to find it easy to disengage from an entire human being that they co-created.

That it’s so commonplace that it no longer moves us as society. A man will ignore a kid for their whole life and we won’t be shocked because it’s just become a thing that men do.

That we are more surprised by seeing good dads than we are bad ones.

And I know some people will say “but women do it to”, yes they do. Some women abandon their kids and go about life but society hasn’t normalised that or come to expect it.
