@haleyco17937176 100% agree. I think it is a lot more unique and makes life more enjoyable when there are more colors and personalities involved. What do you have to gain with everyone with the same mindset?
@laurendianne19 I agree, I think the book talking about fear really shined a light that there are people that will act out of fear even though there is nothing to be scared about. Another word I think that could be used is jealously as well.
@haleyco17937176 The stereotypical "perfect American" is long overdue for an update. You do not have to be white nor christian to contribute to this society in a positive way.
@gabiglass2 As a white male, it is very unfortunate there are people out there that live this life. I have family members who are in interracial marriages and my family has never been non-accepting of anyone solely due to color, religion, etc.
@bdillonbsu I think fear and lack of education being mixed together is not good for certain communities out there, because it usually leads to negative actions.
@bdillonbsu I am doing my poster and paper over racism in sports and I am looking forward to having a part to really talk about how owners mistreat their players for greed. #NQSoc221
@NoahW221 Very good point. Just because we look up to these individuals, we need to come to the realization that they are still breathing the same air we are. #NQSoc221
