9 years ago I took on an U10s team, never did I think it would lead to this.
After ups, downs & nearly walking away from the game, I’ve now achieved my UEFA A Licence.
Thank you @Faceydane123, my A Licence peers & every player on this journey. Let’s see what’s next! ⚽️ #UEFAA

Little rant. Maybe it's just my research background, don't know, but last few months have been frustrating, disappointing, when too many times we've seen history forgotten and research be really lazy in regards to women's football in Wales. Recent statistics and articles from too many that have been produced have been incredibly disappointing when basic research hasn't been done. I won't mention specific ones, as it's unfair and publicity is good, but accuracy is important and only fair to those in the past.
Women's football in Wales existed before the Adran Leagues.
Women's football exists below it.
It's certainly been represented in Europe before this year, crazy that that's even got to be clarified.
The more people that ignore that or don't acknowledge it, the less likely we're to grow it in a way that truly reflects the work done before from those that invested their time into it when others wouldn't.
I hate being negative, but it's something that has to be said. It's been a year of growth and record breaking numbers for Welsh women's football, let's keep it that way whilst remembering how we got there.
Always a pleasure to speak to Harry who is a breath of fresh air to promoting the Women's Leagues in Welsh football... wish I could say the same about other platforms and the actual FAW.
Until next time 🙌⚽️.
💬 Listen below to Pontypridd United U19s Manager Drew Lewis after yesterday's game, who reflected on a positive campaign for The Dragons in the Genero Adran U19s Leagues.
It would be Lewis' final game in charge of the U19s, remaining with the club next season in his current role as Head of Women's and Youth.

Very proud of these two making the U19s Team of The Season. Both have been superb and grown over the last season, along with showing more character off it too.
Well Done Girls 👊🏼🐉.. 1 to go!

Yet no talk about U19s for 2027/28 in this pathway either... will be interesting to see that one for clubs in the Adran South/Premier if it does happen... mind you will stop U25 teams I suppose.
The FAW can confirm that the Adran North Under 19s will not be running in 2026/27.
The decision has been taken following a period of extensive research and collaborative club consultation regarding the league's long-term viability & role within the player development pathway 👇
A huge congratulations to our Player Pathway on show last night as two of our U15s featured in the Cardiff City Fixture!
Well Done to Daisy and Gracie! 💪🐉
The Future is bright at USW as both came on in the 2nd half displaying a brilliant performance.

@AFCceiber@FAWales@RCTCouncil So basically everyone playing for Wales missing out on the World Cup and JD Prem Teams getting there 150k that the FAW can't pay now cause Wales didn't qualify... I mean I could be wrong 🤔.
