"Very Important House" was a project being developed by Johnen Vazquez (known for Invader Zim) for 4 years. The entire crew were super excited to show off the project and the pilot but Disney (who owns the rights) decided to not continue with it or even release the pilot.
Animation is, easily, among the greatest mediums of art ever created.
What a shame it's so rarely put to even a fraction of it's potential. Thank goodness there are more and more independent artists working to push the medium to new heights ✨
Hiroshi Ohno, the art director of Kiki’s Delivery Service with some of the original art. The first picture shows him with the imageboard we had the privilege to reproduce. I met with him yesterday to discuss new projects. It’s always a great pleasure!

@artofjax I wonder how long it'll be until we see artists and companies including "In case of deletion" clauses in their work that demand a DVD release or, at least, punitive financial compensation for the artists who's work can never legally be seen.
‘COYOTE VS ACME’ is now expected to be shelved and deleted forever.

I could write an entire essay on how I feel about the state of the animation industry but my thoughts basically boil down to an unrelenting gratitude to fans, enthusiasts, and supporters who continue to show their love for our work, even through all this nonsense. ❤️
New Clone High season billboards have been spotted in the wild! 🧬 Both in LA and NY. I can’t wait to visit these spots myself. Be sure to watch the new season now over on Max! All 10 episodes are available now. I still can’t get over seeing drawings I’ve done this big.

A less talked about part of working in the animation industry is working on a project for a year or more, finishing it, having to wait another year or more for it to air, and forgetting a lot of the work you did.
Did I draw that scene? Maybe? I think I did...😅
