@feliz_navidi@uckema It actually predated his entry into the movement and the base of support for them absolutely came primarily from middle class Protestants. That isn't to say there were no Catholic Nazis, just that it wasn't a particularly or specifically Catholic movement.
@DemokratikNiko That's a better option than how some treat Anglicanism, more honest to the official teachings and history. Idk if a similar sentiment also brings some over to Eastern Orthodoxy.
@BillTheKid1603 This is even more true when you look into left wing spaces, which the acronym also includes. Radical Feminists are by definition left wing and the various institutions that exist on the American left are pretty inhospitable to the TE part of the acronym.
@metr0politics This is how most societies generally view the ideal but I'd say that both for America and Canada it is more of an ideal than a reality. Though I do think the US and Canada are better at sublimating these conflicts than some other countries are, though you can still find it.
