Option A: Use 70% of agricultural land (marginal grazing terrain) to grow grass, which cattle convert into nutrient-dense food, while building topsoil and sequestering carbon

Option B: Abandon 70% of agricultural land because crops won't grow there, import all food from intensive monoculture on the remaining 30%, drain aquifers, destroy topsoil, require massive synthetic fertilizer inputs, create food that lacks essential nutrients

Environmentalists chose Option B and called it "sustainable."

You can't feed the planet without ruminants. The math doesn't work. The land won't cooperate. The nutrients aren't there.
