I slept with my landlady on a Sunday night, and by Monday morning, I was wishing I had never opened my bedroom door.
She was 34, beautiful, married, and living in the apartment directly above mine. Her husband worked in another state and came home only occasionally.
For months, she had been unusually friendly with me. She would stop to chat whenever we met, bring me food sometimes, and find little excuses to call me.
I always assumed she was just being nice.
Then one evening, she knocked on my door wearing a fitted dress and carrying two glasses of wine.
She said she was bored and wanted someone to talk to.
We talked for hours. Eventually, she admitted that her marriage had become lonely and that she enjoyed being around me more than she should.
I knew where the conversation was heading, but I didn’t stop it.
That night, we crossed a line that should never have been crossed.
Before leaving my room, she kissed me and whispered, “We need to pretend this never happened.”
I agreed.
Then, the next morning, she knocked on my door again.
This time, she wasn’t smiling.
I’ve pitched my man 2 business ideas, he funded both, and I never followed through with either 😭 today I came with a third idea and this man is READY 😭
Please Everyone, I need your help.
From the accident, she has fractures in her hand, leg, and pelvic region. The doctor said the surgery will cost about ₦5 million. It is extensive and will be done in two phases.
First they will operate on her hand and leg. When she recovers from that, they will do the pelvic region.
It has been a painful experience. We have already spent so much on drugs and medications just to keep her stable this far. The pain is still there every day.
A lot of you have followed this from the day of the accident. You have seen the updates. You know what this has been like.
Please, if your heart can move you, even ₦1k, ₦2k, ₦5k, ₦10k, or ₦20k from you will help us. Every little bit carries weight right now.

This “gospel” artist supports the government in power.
He performed at their events and then died because eight hospitals rejected him after he slumped
Before you come here preaching respect for the dead and throwing emotional tantrum, I want you to understand that politics is directly responsible for the dysfunction and poor quality of life we live with in Nigeria.
His money and connections couldn’t save him.
The government he supports and performed for failed to equip the hospitals and so he couldn't access healthcare when he needed it the most.
So when the likes of Timi D Kolo, whose family is in the UK, tell you not to make enemies because of politics, please by all means insult and curse him, because he does not mean well for you.
People need to understand that politics is a direct cause of many of the disasters and calamities that have befallen our country, and they should be cut off if possible.
Politics is not a football bant. It's an existential affair that has very serious consequences on life.
It does not matter how much money you have; you cannot escape the consequences of bad governance brought by the bad politics of the APC.
So by all means, hold that grudge, because the reason you are living a low-to-mid life is the result of the nonsense that politics has caused. Specifically the Apc type of politics.
No allow anybody gaslight you o

In April, I bought TWO cars paid in full cash.
A 2023 G-Wagon and a 2025 GLE 53 AMG. 😂
At the time, I thought I wanted both.
But after buying them, I started thinking differently.
As a first-time car owner, I had to consider maintenance, running costs and whether owning both cars actually made sense.
So I made a decision.
I sold the G-Wagon, kept the 2025 GLE 53 AMG, and shipped it to Nigeria around the end of August/early September.
And the funny part? 😂
I used some of the money from the G-Wagon to buy my Rolex Platona watch.
Here’s what I learned:
Being able to afford something and being willing to maintain it are two different things.
Some cars are worth owning for the experience, but that doesn’t automatically make them good investments.
Sometimes, the smartest financial decision isn’t buying more. It’s knowing what to let go of.
I could have kept both cars just to say I owned two luxury cars. But what would be the point if I wasn’t getting enough value out of owning both?
Luxury is nice. Financial sense is nicer. 🥂
