Muammar risked his life to tell the world about El Fasher, choosing to stay through a starvation siege even when he had the means to leave. He is one of Sudan’s bravest journalists, he must not be forgotten. We must continue to demand his release from the UAE-RSF militia
I promised my daughters that I would enroll them in school this year, and you can't imagine how excited they are.The school year has already started, I can only rely on your kindness.Pls pls pls don't let me down. Q*T and R*T this post, https://t.co/NcVbG4aWgD
There’s no way you can read this & not cry, not cry for this Darfuri community & not cry at how humanity has failed them. 10,000 Darfuris killed in just 48 hrs by the UAE-RSF & the world let it happen, a level of mass violence not seen since Rwanda. https://t.co/WoRpydA9x8
🚨Another Sudanese refugee with UNHCR status dies in Egyptian police custody.
@Refugees you owe the Sudanese people an explanation — what are your cards actually worth?

Sudanese students are being banned from UK study visas — not because of merit, but because they might claim asylum.
Punishing students for the crime of surviving a war is shameful.

🇸🇩 Please help a Sudanese family in Darfur who are stuck and trapped there as the genocidal war and crimes continue to expand!
Your contribution will go to their evacuation to safety to Uganda and make it so they can survive and stay away from violence!

The Sudanese Health Ministry announced that 15 THOUSAND body has been found in Khartoum's houses and schools since 14 April 2024.

We remain very concerned about the Sudanese Journalist Muammar who was taken captive by RSF after they breached Elfashir city.
We need pressure to be put on RSF to release him to safety.
What can we do?? Who can we write to?
In April 2024 there were 800,000 people in El fashir
4 days ago there were 250,000 people
Right now there are only 177,00 people
5,000 reached to a nearby city safely
Where are the 80,000+ people?
Why’s the fact that they are unaccounted for is not causing mass panic?
The survivors of El Fasher escaped slaughter..now they are battling hunger, sickness and displacement.
Don’t abandon them they urgently need food, medicine and support!! Please help

A video shows our colleague and friend Muammar Ibrahim @MUAMMAR_SUD captured by the RSF
He has been working with Al Jazeera Mubasher and several other media outlets.
We call on the local, regional, and international community to protect Muammar and all journalists in Darfur, as well as all civilians in and around El Fasher.
We hold the RSF fully responsible for his safety and wellbeing.

A Sudanese journalist reporting from the besieged city of El Fasher while he and his community starve. He’s documenting a famine for the world to see. The world can’t say it didn’t know.
The silence is global. Not just Africa, even the wider Muslim world has turned away. Sudan deserves the same solidarity and outrage shown for Palestine, but it’s Sudanese people saving each other while the world chooses not to care
Abeer has dedicated herself to helping thousands of Sudanese, including in besieged El Fasher, while being displaced herself. She’s the reason thousands have survived. Now her family’s battling dengue fever with no medical care. Let’s support her 🙏🏾 🇸🇩 https://t.co/kWxiD85zE8
