Manchester United's biggest problem is not just tactics, style of play, coaching, or ownership.!
The reality is that the squad lacks enough elite players in key positions to compete consistently with the very best teams in England!
When Manchester City won multiple Premier League titles, they had world-class quality almost everywhere on the pitch. Liverpool's title-winning team under Jürgen Klopp was filled with players performing at an elite level. Arsenal's recent challenge has also been built on high-level quality and consistency across the squad.
At Manchester United, too many players have shown flashes of quality without consistently performing at the level required to win a league title over 38 games.
Take players like Kobbie Mainoo, Diogo Dalot, and Harry Maguire.
Mainoo is a talented young midfielder with a bright future, but he is still developing and has not yet shown the week-in, week-out dominance of the league's best midfielders.
Dalot works hard and has improved over the years, but he has not consistently proven himself to be among the Premier League's elite full-backs.
Maguire has had good periods at the club, but his performances have fluctuated significantly throughout his United career.
The issue is not that these players are poor footballers.
The issue is that title-winning teams require exceptional CONSISTENCY , quality, leadership, and reliability in almost every position.
Manchester United currently have too many players who are good enough to compete for European places but not enough players who are genuinely among the best in their position.
To return to the top, United need a squad where every position is occupied by players capable of delivering elite performances throughout an ENTIRE season. The club needs more world-class quality, greater athleticism, stronger decision-making, and a winning mentality that can withstand the PRESSURE of a title race.
Until Manchester United raise the overall level of the squad, replacing inconsistency with excellence, competing for the Premier League title will remain extremely difficult regardless of who the manager is.
Winning a league is not about having a few good players. It is about having elite players across the entire team, and Manchester United are still some distance away from that standard.
We the fans keep rejecting every player linked to us!
Meanwhile this players are better than what we currently have!!
We can’t continue like this!
They are not ruthless enough
I hate comparing them with the previous owners cos that was a forgettable moment, but move like elite teams
City don't waste time to sign an upgrade in any position, as well as Madrid
Move like them
You have the money FGS!!!
No but their attack is currently the best in the world
Mbappe, doue, Dembele, olise, barcola, thuram
And their midfield is not bad
Their defense Saliba, Konate,Upamecano, Kounde etc
lol
Can't these guys realize that the premier League of up for the taking and boosting the squad with these qualities of players will put us in pole position to challenge for the premier League?

David Ornstein has built more credibility and legacy in football journalism than Fabrizio Romano, and it’s not even close.
Romano is brilliant for speed and updates, but Ornstein is the one clubs, executives and journalists trust when it comes to accuracy and breaking the biggest stories.
When Ornstein speaks, people treat it as confirmation. When Romano speaks, people often wait for Ornstein to confirm it.

Nemanja Vidic won the Premier League Player of the Season award twice:
2008–09
2010–11
He remains the only defender in Premier League history to have won the award more than once.
Ngl I’m actually quite of the few minority that doesn’t have a problem with Van Dijk getting GOAT PL defender shouts. Only flaw is the longevity but what I saw from the player 2017-2020 was the most dominant, flawless individual standard a centre back has played in modern football.
The man made world-class defending look so effortless. He didn't just stop strikers, he mentally broke them. No rash challenges, no headless running, just elite positioning and recovery pace. The man was defending on vibes and pure aura. Never seen anything like it.
