@bernandode15586@jujusukiasan@yinraijin None of that was ever being debated stop jumping around goalposts to support your argument with cherry picked examples.
@bernandode15586@jujusukiasan@yinraijin That still doesnt change anything lmao. What she did was manipulative and naruto rejected that idealized version of her and saw reality. Whats delusional is attacking someone for what the show explicitly states lmao. All these personal attacks just prove you dont have an argument
@bernandode15586@jujusukiasan@yinraijin The blush and the girlfriend claim are red herrings. Never disputed Naruto had feelings for her. The debate was whether he called out the lie in 469, which you confirmed by admitting you left the panel out. Thanks for agreeing with me. ๐คก
@ChevenGree25036@KurtPagunt32657@heyjay_xo Naruto can barely slice a moon in half during his prime. he cant compete with the multiverse tier Power dragon ball super has given goku dawg. Goku been planet level since at least namek. Naruto hasn't been around logn enough for power creep to even get that high
@bernandode15586@jujusukiasan@yinraijin Notice how you conveniently left out the proceeding panels where he says that directly in response to her confession. The quote i used isn't floating in the ether, it's his immediate reaction to her. He says it right after that internal monologue you posted. So yeah, he did.
@lunacyscure@hypareyli2 Naruto had Iruka and jiraiya as explicit father models. The series spent volumes showing him internalize what family means. "No father" ignores all of that established work. The issue isn't his competency. It's that Boruto writes him like those lessons never landed.
@Ultra2080@Fawles@hypareyli2 That panel proves my point. He's not tragically blind in the original ending. He's consciously telling his son the village supersedes him. Original Naruto's drive was specific people. Borutos writing replaces that with an institution. The bond didn't scale. It got reassigned.
@CodeHacker237@Boltsxk That's my point. The window was short and the writing chose to maximize his absence within it rather than show the psychological tension of a man who knows better but is failing to do better. That's the craft choice I'm criticizing.
@Uravious999@hypareyli2 His difficulty relating to and communicating with his son is literally the starting emotional arc of Boruto. That's emotional absence. That's the point.
@manmuffin466@autopilotgod Explaining a joke โ killing it. Side notes preserve fidelity. The Takaba joke failing in english is the point. Hes intentionally cringe. Landing for english audiences was never the benchmark Gege wrote to. That metric is the translator substituting their judgment for the authors
@aguacelular@hypareyli2 Not my argument, if they wanted conflict they should have executed it better. Thats my point. It was never about naruto being perfect.
@rccsetzer@hypareyli2 I do just later on in the thread. I dont hate boruto as a manga, I jist think the writing suffers because of those decisions made. But thats just my opinion on it.
