@emilymiller Emily, Great reporting! Could you ask workers if a protective layer like cement, rock slab, or other material that could go over top the sealant to protect from future vandalism?
Andrew, Enjoy your insight of DC and historical context. What you do is rare in Washington and why we watch your videos. Noticed you turned off comments on your White House grass post and your unusual response declaring that you only report what’s going on now. Why couldn’t you give your usual level headed context and report that Scott’s pledged $1 million and had long planned for the White House grass restoration? It will be interesting to see the lawn restoration, but even more interesting is the rapid building next door and monument improvements being made across DC as there is a renewed focus to reinvigorate DC. Looking forward to seeing the improvements, your updates and insight. Please don’t lose that.

California squeezed the rich so hard that they popped all the way to Texas.
Only 200,000 taxpayers in California (of 39 million population) now fund 1/2 of the state budget.
Over 1 million taxpayers ran away from California last year, fleeing to states with a bit more common sense. California is replacing those taxpayers with illegal fake refugees that will be a constant drain on state resources.
Enjoy your virtue signaling in California.🤣
Doesn’t make sense. Starlink is the only company actually solving rural broadband at scale!
They should arguably dissolve the program and return funds to taxpayers, but definitely not send it those who aren’t getting the job done.
What actually happened is that the companies that lobbied for this massive earmark (not us) thought they would win, but instead were outperformed by Starlink, so now they’re changing the rules to prevent SpaceX from competing.
